Mr. V. Ashok Kumar, the proprietor of Dolphin Aquarium is a hobbyist and shown interest in aquariums from his young days. As you might expect he did not venture into aquariums commercially from the start. He completed his diploma in automobile engineering and started his own workshop for two wheelers. He converted his childhood passion into a commercial venture only after acquiring a commendable experience in the business world and establishing a good clientele. good exposure to his new venture. Some of the tanks constructed during these formative years still stand as an example for his craftsmanship. Ashok graduated to marine aquarium consultation in 2000 and has done some exemplary work for Dolphin City Aquarium Section in Chennai from 2001 – 2003 and VGP Aquatic Cave in VGP Golden Beach Chennai from 2002 – 2005.
